Factoring is a track I produced from a traditional Japanese Geisha song. I wanted to attempt making a song from traditional music of an entirely different culture. I couldn't think of a better hook than having Pickster One on the cuts-- it came out sounding so dope with his cuts for the chorus. I felt it needed something more though to add to the meaning behind the title of the track, so I put some samples of Ghandi speaking. His insights are often profound and the samples added that aspect of wisdom and knowledge I wanted to portray in this track.
The title of the track again has dual meaning. Factoring, of course, is a mathematical term. I also intended for the word to mean the act of realizing the facts and logic that lie before us, pointing to a belief in a supreme being. Not just any supreme being, but a God who knows us intimately and loves us. The sun, stars, plants, animals, etc. all testify that a God exists. These are the facts that give evidence that God truly exists.
